I'm a self-taught photographer, writer and BSME-award-winning editor based between London and Newlyn, Cornwall. I worked in publishing for more than 15 years in the UK and Asia (Singapore and Shanghai). In 2020, when Covid hit, I suddenly had time on my hands, I picked up a camera, a new journey began.
I started with candid street photography in London, which led to my first editorial feature for Condé Nast Traveller in Málaga, Spain. I’m now a regular contributor to the magazine (words and pictures). My work has since expanded to include food, interiors, automotive and lifestyle photography.
I've also produced branded editorial for clients including Diageo, Jaguar Land Rover and Audi. Other clients include the Slow Cyclist, Wyld and Abercrombie & Kent.
I still write. One of my favourite assignments took me to Socotra, Yemen, with adventure travel company Cookson Adventures. More recently, I joined a polar expedition in Finse, Norway, with Shackleton Challenges. In 2025, I travelled to Mérida, Mexico, to write and shoot a feature for Travel + Luxury magazine.
I also work as a freelance subeditor on the Guardian's culture desk.
But I’m happiest when I’m travelling.
For prints or any other enquiries, I’d love to hear from you.
